This exhibition highlights how a mother’s role extends beyond the images of joy that we so often see.
It aims to show the moments of uncertainty, fragility, and resilience that exist outside of the public gaze.
These photographs serve as a testament to the complexities of mothering—where self-care, often deferred, becomes an act of survival, and where the experience of loss is inextricable from the experience of raising children.
Noelle Drimmie is a mother, teacher and photographer who is finding ways to blend her experience as a parent with an art form for which she has smaller and smaller amounts of time.
She lives a quietly chaotic life in Flin Flon MB.
