Continuing her engagement with the photographic reconstruction of the human-built world, Stinner-Kun is tightening her focus in this new exhibition by making images of architectural spaces that are inherently persuasive.
Through her photo-realistic composites, she explores environments that are designed to manipulate and
immerse a viewer into believing or buying a lifestyle or ideal.
The subject matter depicted includes, immersive environments found at theme parks, vintage mid-century modern interiors, and trade show halls.
Lisa Stinner-Kun is a photographic artist and educator. Her artwork is concerned with the photographic reconstruction of the built environment.
