Our Inspiration

Four photographers from the Pinawa Art Gallery are showcasing the essence of their photography, their inspiration, and their work. 

Based in Pinawa and the Eastman region, the photographers have won awards in the Eastman Juried Art Exhibition and have participated in the Boreal Shores Art Tour.

In collaboration with the more experienced photographers, students from Pinawa Secondary School will receive instruction on the art of photography and the various ways to properly showcase their work. 

Stu Iverson focuses mainly on nature and scenics in southern Manitoba and surrounding areas, capturing pictures that reveal something rarely seen by observers. 

Lian Drabyk captures different views and perspectives of landscapes, wild animals, farm animals, pets, buildings, abstracts, and star trails. 

Rick McGregor specializes in birds or animals in their natural habitat, aiming to capture them exactly as he sees them.

Anita Drabyk focuses on the subtleties of light and colour in the prairies, showcasing close-ups of flowers, birds, animals, and scenery to reveal the hidden beauty and colour in softer scenes.
