This exhibition challenges the traditional notions of photography by exploring various expanded mediums.
The show is immersive, experimental and vibrant, showcasing some of the School of Art’s talented students working in and beyond the medium of photography.
By playing with unconventional installations, Don’t look me in the eye has a fresh presentation of photo-based art.
This show challenges the recurring ideas locked in the well-known photography canon by presenting new and creative interpretations of photography.
This show looks past only traditionally completed works and present unfinished, works in progress and failed pieces.
Featuring a selection of current School of Art students at the University of Manitoba. The students range from those who have just begun their studies to graduating artists and Honours students.
Many work in interdisciplinary mediums and methods, but all the participating creatives engage with photography in their work.
