Workshop
Date: Wednesday, October 9
Time: 2:30-5:30 PM
Location: 152 Taché Hall
Discover the magic of pinhole photography, where you can build your own camera using everyday materials. Alter objects like books or lunch pails to capture unique images, and experiment with the physics of light and time. In this workshop, you'll create a pinhole camera, learn basic darkroom techniques, and explore new ways to see the invisible
Dianne Bos combines pinhole, film, camera obscura, and cyanotype to explore light, time, and journeying in her art. She has exhibited internationally, including the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris. Bos has taught at AUArts Calgary, Sheridan College, and University of Calgary, and has led alternative photography workshops in Spain, Iceland, Italy, and France. Her work pushes the boundaries of traditional photography, using light to reveal the unseen.
