Creative Manitoba GROUP SHOW
We unite and engage employers, workers, educators, professional associations and government in a strategic alliance, enabling the arts and cultural sector to thrive.
Creative Manitoba strengthens, represents and connects Manitoba’s arts and creative industries. We provide training, mentorship and networking opportunities – and for the third year in a row, we are presenting a group exhibition featuring the photographic works of Creative Manitoba’s staff.
We are exploring how photography shapes our ideas and how we perceive ourselves, the world around us and our connection to the Manitoba art scene. This is the view from us, our perspective on the world as we see it, providing an insight into who we are and perhaps a glimpse into why we do what we do for our artistic community.
Works in the exhibition range from portrait to landscape, figurative to abstract. This is a rare opportunity for a group who tend to focus on the functional side of arts practice to provide a glimpse of who we are as creators, to show something of our passions and our drive to create.
