Kennan Hspahic is a photographer from Winnipeg that is passionate about nature and landscape photography. He earned his diploma of photography from Fanshawe College of Applied Arts in 1996. He enjoys travel and adventure on roads less travelled. In late 2005 Kennan travelled
to Thailand to photograph people and places he visited. His work focused on nature, landscapes, street scenes, historic architecture and documentary portraits. Thailand inspired him enough to return to live and work as an ESL teacher for over
a year. Most of the images were captured in his first month visiting Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. The photographs were created by chasing light with an emphasis on capturing the moment and finding
the perfect composition. This collection
of work documents the life, culture, and magnificent scenery from the countries visited. Kennan chose Vientiane Restaurant to entice people to the tastes of Thai/ Laos cuisine while viewing his images. He recommends other travellers to explore these countries to find inspiration for photographing people and places.
