Jacqueline Young is the principal photographer and owner of Stationpoint Photographic. Holding a degree in Architecture from the University of Manitoba (2011) and a Diploma in Photography from PrairieView School of Photography (2014), Jacqueline enjoys the challenges of documenting artworks both large and small in scale. As an artist providing commercial photography, Jacqueline strives to present the subjects of her work as simultaneously rigorous and playful.

“Noah, Terry, Michael, John, Shirley, Stacey, Mabel” is the documentation of a set of glass prosthetic eyeballs that were stumbled upon in an antique store just outside of Gimli, MB. This documentation became an exploration into specific photographic set-ups, light, colour, and narrative; giving characters to each eyeball photographed.

Opening show – October 5th, 4-10pm at Barnhammer Brewing Co.
