This exhibition presents a behind the scenes view of the people and places involved in the film industry in Manitoba.
Still photographer Allen Fraser has provided images that have been used to market and document over one hundred motion picture and television productions filmed in Manitoba.
A selection of rarely seen photographs from his collection will be on display at the On Screen Manitoba offices, located in the basement of the Artspace Building, throughout the month of October.
This is an opportunity for Manitobans to celebrate our local film and television industry.
Locally made films have been showcased at renowned festivals including Sundance, Cannes, Berlinale, TIFF and many others. Manitoba film projects have been shown at the MoMA in New York, Pompidou in Paris and the National Gallery of Canada.
Manitoba is known as a film-friendly province with generous incentives, experienced producers and over 1400 world-class creative and technical crew.
